Workshop: Flower Bags or Yoga Bags
What do we need our hands for? Just scrolling, tapping, and swiping? Our hands can do so much more! In this workshop, you’ll discover the joy of creating with your own hands: feel, cut, sew, and knot.
What you will learn:
Learn the essentials of sewing and design your own one-of-a-kind piece, guided by Studio SCHMITD.
The workshop begins with inspiration from the lace bags or curtain bags. From there, you’ll sketch, experiment with fabrics, and create your own accessory. Learn to make a simple pattern, cut and sew.
Materials:
You will be provided with fabrics and tools. Or you bring your own washed garments or fabrics.
Instructor:
Eugenie Schmidt has been working with post-consumer textiles and pre-loved garments for over 15 years, presenting collections worldwide and teaching upcycling workshops across Europe, Asia, and the Americas.
