What do we need our hands for? Just scrolling, tapping, and swiping? Our hands can do so much more! In this workshop, you’ll discover the joy of creating with your own hands: feel, cut, sew, and knot.
What you will learn:
Learn the basics of sewing and design your own one-of-a-kind bucket hat, guided by Eugenie.
We’ll start with inspiration from the classic bucket hat. Using provided patterns, you’ll learn how to cut and sew your own version — from a simple, classic design to a more advanced style.
No previous sewing experience needed. Just curiosity and a willingness to experiment!
Materials:
You will be provided with tools and garments or fabrics, or you bring your own washed garments.

Eugenie Schmidt has been working with post-consumer textiles and pre-loved garments for over 15 years, presenting collections worldwide and teaching upcycling workshops across Europe, Asia, and the Americas.
